Balloon frame construction company Balloon Frame Construction has announced that it has signed a contract for $14 million to construct a $15 million balloon frame in Lakeland, Florida.
The project is part of the company’s efforts to build a new facility for balloon makers in the Florida Keys.
Balloon Frame has completed two balloon frame projects for companies including the University of Florida, the International Balloon Festival, and the Balloon Museum of Florida.
“I’m thrilled to be able to offer Balloon Frame a $14.7 million balloon project to help us provide a great education for our students and the community,” said Larry B. Burch, CEO of Balloon Frame.
“We are proud to be working with the industry leaders in balloon production, and have the support of the University.
This project is a great example of the high standards we hold in our company.
We are excited to be a part of Balloon Frames mission to educate the youth of Lakeland and the surrounding area, and to inspire the next generation of Balloon Framers.”
The project will include a 40-foot high, 8-foot wide, 1,500 square foot facility.
The facility will be open to the public and will include classrooms, a small office, and a conference center.
The company hopes to have a complete facility completed by December of 2020.
